Geoffrey Robert James "Jamie" Borwick, 5th Baron Borwick (*1955) is a British manager, founder and owner of electric car producer Modec in Coventry.
Jamie Borwick is married with Victoria Borwick since 1981; they have three sons and a daughter.[1]
Lord Borwick was Chief Executive of Manganese Bronze Holdings PLC, known for the manufacture of the London Taxi from 1987 to 2001, and then Chairman until 2003.
2004 he founded Modec.
He is non-executive Director of Hansa Trust plc, Managing Director of Love Lane Investments Ltd, and Chairman of Federated Trust Corporation Ltd. Lord Borwick was Chairman of Oxis Energy Ltd, which is developing a new battery, until April 2010.
Lord Borwick was also Chairman of Route2Mobility Ltd, funding wheelchairs and scooters for disabled people as part of the UK's Motability scheme, until October 2010.
Jamie Borwick is a Deputy Chairman of the board of British Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership.[2]
